With more than 30 years of leadership and fundraising expertise, I’ve dedicated my career to helping nonprofit organizations grow, thrive, and achieve lasting impact. My path began the way many nonprofit journeys do, with a simple “yes” to volunteering. That “yes” became a calling, and eventually, a profession. Today, as a nonprofit fundraising consultant, I bring both professional expertise and a lifelong commitment to service.
I began my development career after being recruited from a volunteer role into event management with the American Cancer Society, followed by directing events for the Arthritis Foundation.
At Judson Retirement Community, I managed the annual fund, expanded tribute campaigns, enhanced planned giving programs, and supported a $5 million capital campaign.
Later, at the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, I managed the national Race for the Cure® Series: more than 100 5K events nationwide. At headquarters, I built relationships with corporate sponsors, coordinated national media, trained affiliate volunteers, and supported the success of every race day.
Back in Cleveland, I served as Chief Development Officer for The Gathering Place, leading a $3 million capital campaign, expanding individual giving, and establishing a planned giving society that secured long-term donor support.
I was then recruited by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to launch a first-time development program focused on major gifts, institutional giving, foundation partnerships, and donor stewardship.
Since 2005, I’ve led LPS Consulting LLC, where I guide nonprofits through donor relations, campaigns, planned giving strategies, and broader fundraising solutions.
Volunteering has always been at the heart of my work. From serving as Co-Chair of the 1998 and 1999 Northeast Ohio Komen Race for the Cure® to mentoring professionals in nonprofit management, I remain committed to giving back and supporting the next generation of leaders.
While my volunteer plate is full, my current passion projects include Zeta Tau Alpha and Lakewood Community Services Center Board of Directors.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Ohio Northern University and began my career in corporate roles with LTV Steel and CIGNA Healthcare before following my passion into the nonprofit sector.
Today, I live in a century home in Lakewood, Ohio, affectionately known as The Rehab Project, with my husband and our furry companions. When the weather warms, you’ll find me enjoying summers on Middle Bass Island, Lake Erie.
Clients appreciate the combination of vision, plan creation, and enthusiasm for execution I bring to every partnership. Because at the end of the day, the formula is simple:
